Dominican Republic | Spring Break 2012
On the northern Dominican/Haiti border lies the beautiful mountain province on Monti Cristi, which has recently become a melting pot of Dominican and Haitian Societies.
The devestating earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010, caused thousands of Haitian refugees to flee their home country and take refuge in the Dominican Republic. Many hoped to create a better life but most still struggle to survive and remain trapped in a state of spiritual oppression.

The Dominican town of Villa Vasquez is one of many that holds the annual “Festival Of Patrons” which is know for its decadent partying and the unruliness it creates. This presents an opportunity for our team to share the love of Christ with festival goers and give them an alternative way to celebrate.
Join with BWO as we bring the love and freedom of Jesus through village outreaches, construction, medical clinics, and VBS. This spring, you have the opportunity to make a difference and be used by Christ to transform lives.
