We are definitely entering the best years of our lives.

We will be working in conjunction with Floyd McClung as we focus on Masiphumelele and Ocean View, two townships of Cape Town both extremely rich in beauty, culture, and need. We will bring the hope of Jesus to townships that suffer under the weight of hopelessness brought on by 70% unemployment, high levels of child abuse, and poverty.

Whether going door to do to visit shut-ins, spending time talking and playing board games with AIDS victims in a hospice, teaching Christian values in local schools, or assisting in the daycare ministry, you will experience firsthand the incredible value of these colorful and generous people.

• Ocean View is an urban settlement of over 30,000 colorful multi- ethnic people.

• Originally known as simply Site 5, this township was renamed Masiphumelele by its residents, which means “We will succeed.” Over 26,000 people live in Masi.

The chief of the Ndelbele tribe has graciously opened to us all the tribe under his leadership; 450,000 people living in surrounding villages.

Takes you to the tribal village of Dindela for adventure, roughing it, and hard work. Join us as we caravan into the tribal village where the Ndelbele people groups live.

 Dindela village has become the spiritual center for our thrust into the Ndelbele people group. 240 people have become believers and are being discipled in house churches.

church planting Xperience.

In CPx we seek to train people to make disciples the way Jesus did it. He demonstrated and imparted a new way of living to them. Then he sent them out to experience and reproduce as they reached out to others. In CPx seasoned front line workers will walk side by side with you to help you start small, simple, easily reproducible communities, first where you are trained, then in the nations.

In CPx you will learn to re-imagine church, then experiment with how to do church as simple, joyful community that encourages you to use your passions and gifts to reach out to others. You will learn about models of church that are holistic, sustainable and reproducible.

CPx is an invitation to learn in community: three month of teaching and outreach in Cape Town, South Africa or Kansas City, MO and then three months applying what you have learned in another nation. You will be equipped for effective service in the nations, in the marketplace, and where you live right now.
