debbie tietsortmissions director Debbie Tietsort is the Missions Director for Believers World Outreach. Her heart is to see people come to the knowledge of Christ. She has dedicated her work to pointing people in that direction. Debbie has been involved with coordinating and project directing mission trips in various parts of the world for nearly ten years. She has lead nearly 2,000 missionaries into different countries during that time. The high point of these trips for her is not only to see the lost come to know Jesus but to see how the missionaries who participate on these trips h draw closer to Christ and come home forever changed as a result of their servanthood. Debbie's other joys are her husband Mark, and her five step-children and her four beautiful grandchildren.
mark tietsort bwo president Mark Tietsort is the President for Believers World Outreach. For the last 30 years, Mark has devoted his life to helping hurting people in God’s Kingdom. Mark is an associate pastor at Believers Church. He started serving on the mission field when he married his wife Debbie nearly nine years ago. His passions in life are His Lord, wife, children, grandchildren, old cars, planes, motorcycles, and a good cup of coffee & muffin!
lillian samfordassistant coordinator Lillian Samford is the Assistant Coordinator for Believers World Outreach. She has been actively involved in mission work since the age of ten when her family answered the call to go as missionaries to Mexico. Lillian graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.A. in Education. Since her first mission trip, she has traveled the world sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Lillian’s greatest desire is to see souls saved and true, lifelong relationships with God birthed in the hearts of His people.

Nancy Phillips joined Believers World Outreach after participating in two short-term mission trips to Costa Rica. This opportunity was the answer to a desire God placed in her heart while attending church camp when she was just 15 years old. She enjoys serving in the office on a regular basis and looks forward to future service on the mission field. Nancy and her husband, John, have been married since 1990 and have three boys. John and two of their sons have also been a part of short-term missions through Believers World Outreach.
susan sealy project director Susan began her missionary career almost as soon as she became a Christian during her years at the University of California at Berkeley. Right after graduation she joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and served on several college campuses across the country. Her heart for missions and her love of team building have been utilized as she’s worked with youth for the last 20 years and led between 15 and 20 mission trips to central and South America as well as Africa. Susan currently serves at Believers Church, overseeing small group, youth, children and women’s ministry.
tim way project director Tim Way has been happily married to his wife Jill for 15 years. They have five amazing children. Tim and his family served as missionaries in Uganda for eight years, training leaders and sharing the love of Jesus with people. They have hosted and lead numerous mission teams, proclaiming the Gospel throughout the cities and villages of Uganda. Currently, Tim leads a discipleship community called Transit in Tulsa, OK. Transit focuses on making disciples through teaching, prayer, community, and outreach. Tim’s heart is to make disciples who will live for the glory of Jesus in the nations.
micah barnard project director/ bwo board member
Born and bred in Tulsa, OK, Micah has broadened his horizons by constantly traveling, first with a US based band (tour manager), and later on missions as a leader to Panama, Guatemala, and Uganda. He is a natural athlete playing all sports through his whole life even in college, most commonly baseball and basketball and he graduated from Oklahoma Christian College with a degree in Exercise Physiology. Micah takes his athletic passion and combined it with an interest in the arts and has used it in his career, formerly at Winnercomm, creating sports programming, as well as on the mission field through dramas and drama training. Micah is currently a producer for Current C Creative in television production.
kyle wester

Kyle has been gratefully married to Sara Wester since August of 2002. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1999 with a degree in missions. While at ORU, he fell in love with traveling and missions work. He participated in mission trips to Thailand, Israel, and Siberia. Kyle then completed his masters degree in counseling at the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife led a team with BWO to Cape Town, South Africa in summer 2007. In summer 2008 he went to Uganda with BWO and led the outreach team. Kyle is currently working as an elementary school counselor. He is passionate about loving people all over this hurting world. Kyle enjoys playing soccer, guitar, and hanging out with his wife. cheryl barnard Assistant project director/ trainer Learning to take her first steps on a touring bus, Cheryl Newman has literally grown up traveling the world. With over 30 nations on her passport, Cheryl continues to travel, train and lead teams all over the world. As a professional dancer in the touring production, The Masterpiece, A Toymaker’s Dream, Cheryl learned to use the arts to communicate the gospel across language and cultural boundaries. After leaving the touring bus, Cheryl has her degree in Business Administration from Belhaven College. She continues to train missions groups all over the US to use their unique talents and short term dramas to bring people to know Christ. She facilitates this effort along with other trainers as part of her full time job at Impact Productions along with co-producing two television series.
dan mcintosh Assistant project director Daniel McIntosh is the youth pastor at Believer’s Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Business-Marketing, He did long-term missions work to the countries of Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand. Currently he’s figuring how to bring the most beautiful message every told to countries who so desperately need the Living Savior. He is passionate about adventure and helping students connect to God’s purpose for their lives.
