Between Christmas and the New Year, celebrate our Savior’s birth by showing others the love He first showed us.

Though breathtakingly beautiful, Belize is a very spiritually malnourished and dark country. It has been an important link in the chain of drug supply between producers of South and Central America. As always, children become the victims, and with few existing orphanages, countless little ones are neglected.

We will minister in a subdivision of San Pedro Town, called San Mateo, on the island of Ambergris Caye.

On the surface, the island may look like a picturesque tourist destination but underneath the beauty lies hurting children, extreme poverty, and broken homes. San Mateo is the poorest areas on the island with many of its homes located in the midst of a marshy wetland.

Our plan is to love on the members of this community in the name of Christ. We will spend the week reaching out to them with VBS, medical clinics, cosmetology, sports, work projects, construction, and hip hop. The goal is to end the week with a New Year’s festival giving them a safe Christ-centered environment to begin their new year.
